Ele 7 hero build
So, I tried to remake this build:
Quote:
yeah FoW isnt that hard, today i did it for 20 min HM but then i over aggroed :P also completed all quests in NM in 1 hour and 40 min. as heroes i used: SoS, communing rit, ineptitude mesmer, panic, HB, tease prot and a minion bomber. and i was playing ele warder. had no difficulties with any quest
|
This is what I made of it, I know it says for FoW, but I'm wondering if it's any good in general (VQ, missions, ...)
EDIT: Updated team build
Is it any good? I'dd like to make sure before I waste all my money on a useless build
THX

I don't understand why you have arcane conundrum on the sos build, i would slot Painful bond over it.

Will your build work? Yea it probably will. Is it the best? Thats open for debate
Couple things I did notice
The warder bar (Human Ele)
Personally I dont ever like bringing skills 1 2 or 3 that you have on that bar. I find that unsteady ground is generally a better elite to bring. It causes scatter as does sandstorm and the damage difference is relatively minor. The big thing is that if you hero's bunch up and the enemy melee starts wailing on them, you can cast it and pretty much shut them down. Same reason that I absolutely love eruption. A bar that I generally run for an earth ele look like this...
Unsteady Ground, Eruption, Ebon Hawk, Glowstone, Stoning, EVAS, Elemental Lord, Attunement.
As a human there really is no reason to not have a PvE skill or two unless you are one of those people who just doesnt like them
Your SoS build looks good up until skills 5 6 7. Im not sure why arcane conundrum is on this bar and not the ineptitude mesmer. Same applies for why bloodsong is on the mesmer and not this bar. Switch those. Also if it were me I would drop the two single target spells and run a 12, 10, 8 resto split with mend body and soul and spirit light. Also consider dropping splinter weapon for protective was kaolai
Your SoGM is a fine build. Only thing I would say is that dissonance is an energy hog and I dont usually find it worthwhile. Also, enfeebling blood would probably do better on the necro. Personal choice again, but I would go Rt/Mo drop dissonance and enfeebling for remove hex and a res
Both your mesmers look fine other than get bloodsong out of there Also, consider cry of pain on the panic mesmer, its pretty awesome
For your monks. Im not a big monk guy but for the HB at least, prot spirit is on there but has 0 spec. Seems like a waste. Also (and I may be wrong) but at a high divine favor, I think UA actually heals for the same or more than HB with the turbo res. Its an option
Your tease monk is fine I guess. I would get rid of reversal of fortune and put spirit bond in though
The necro is fine, although I would get rid of barbs and put enfeebling blood in its place
Sorry for the text wall and hope it helps

This cept I like dissonance, anddddd:
I don't like weaken armor.
I say. Take enfeebling blood off of the SOGM and put it in place of weaken armor.
If you really want the cracked armor. Put sundering weapon in its place on the SOGM and run a caster sword or something to make them cast it on you then switch once its on you then apply. Only takes a second and will have a longer duration.
Don't kill me fred >.> I still wants your babies.
edit:
forgot to mention that with mend body and soul on the sos rit if you choose to do that you can get rid of mend condition on the monk. With that many spirits Mend body and soul is vastly superior and makes mend condition pretty much useless >.>

K, going to start with your build. As a human, you have the largest damage potential when compared to your heroes, and thus you wouldn't want to force yourself to be a support character. Go AP Earth or air(fire when against very large or very threatening mobs for the aoe kd from MS), use some broken pve skills and spike the hell out of the enemy.
Now for your heroes. I'm going to take a shot in the dark here and say that bloodsong and arcane conundrum got switched somehow as they really don't make sense in their current bars. I had just written up a wall of text but then realized that I would be changing your heroes considerably and I'm not sure if you want that. If you do, I'll go ahead and post it.

I'm trying to find a build that works in general (missions, quests, Bounty, etc.) Vanquishes would be nice, together with some DoA VQ for AoT,
But post away, I can use all the help I can get, I'm up to three builds I found so far and I'm not gonna begin getting the skills until I'm sure I have a good team build (Don't have a lot of k)
EDIT: Updated my current idea for my team
